Easy 4-Ingredient Nut Butter Chocolate Crunch Bars
These bars are SOOO simple and easy to make. We love to keep these in the fridge or freezer as a simple, clean ingredient dessert or snack! If you are looking to find a protein filled option, you can always mix in a scoop of your favorite protein powder, or collagen into this recipe.

INGREDIENTS
- 4-6 Cups of Puffed Rice
- 1 Cup of Nut Butter of Choice (I use almond butter or peanut butter depending on what I have)
- 2 Cups Chocolate Chips (I use dark, but any kind will work!)
- 3 Tablespoons of coconut oil

Directions
When I promised you a simple recipe, I meant it! All you have to do is melt the nut butter, coconut oil, and chocolate chips in a saucepan until combine (if you are adding protein powder or collagen, you would mix it in then until smooth). Once you have the mixture totally combined and melted together, add your puffed rice and mix quickly until all rice is coated.
Using a spatula, pour the chocolate covered rice mixture onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 2-3 hours before slicing into bars or serving.

Sourcing Ingredients
For fair trade chocolate, and access to clean ingredient nut butters, I like to shop with Azure Standard. They do food “drops” to various sites based on zip code. Once a month, I go to my local drop site to pickup my grocery order and enjoy the peace of mind knowing my food purchases are supporting a family owned business and the quality of the food I am receiving is supporting my family too.
